Taylor was visiting friends on the UNT campus, and Shana was already a student. Taylor was staying the weekend and participated in a recreational softball game, in which Shana was on the opposite team. We didnt think much of our meeting there. After the game, Taylor and friends went to rehydrate at none other than Starbucks where Shana was already waiting for her drink. After some playful banter, we both came to realize that we had a connection and we sat at Starbucks talking for hours until they closed.
We had planned a trip to see our friends in San Antonio for the weekend. Shana had talked to Tonya before the weekend to get her parents' blessing. Shana and Taylor wined and dined and socialized until Shana had the idea to go to the nearby Cibolo Nature Preserve for a hike. Everyone went to Cibolo to take pictures, and when it was Shana and Taylor's turn the first pictures were done back to back. As Taylor was excitedly instructed by friends to turn around, Shana had knelt to one knee. At this same time, Taylor was squeezing the smallest dog (Linus) and their other dog (Asti) decided to take an adventure of her own with their friends' dogs and ran off. Of course, Taylor said YES! The dogs were collected and Shana took Taylor to her favorite restraunt where family was waiting on them. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
