Where is the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Our Ceremony & Reception are both being held at the same venue (Hawthorn Estates) The ceremony will be held outdoors in a flat grassy area. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a large parking lot available onsite.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) A back up covered solarium is available if need be.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony starts at 4pm. We ask that you arrive no earlier than 3:30 to find a seat.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We have kindly asked that our reception is 18+ to allow the adults to enjoy their evening out! Our ceremony is welcome to all ages!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We will also be offering a verity of non alcoholic drinks for those who do not wish to drink alcohol.

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Answer

If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please add them in the notes when you RSVP. We will work closely with the caterer to ensure your able to enjoy dinner along side all the other guests. Please note that this does take some extra time to work out, please let us know no later than the RSVP deadline (July 30th) about any restrictions.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We currently have rooms being held at Oakbank Bar and Grill & are looking at adding a few rooms at Transcona's Canada Inn if needed.
