Cafe du Monde
Nothing more New Orleans than beignets and Cafe au Lait! Walk off the beignets by exploring around Jackson Square, visiting St. Louis Cathedral, and wandering over to the French Market for fresh produce and local artwork.
St. Charles Streetcar
We highly recommend riding the green (not red!) streetcar down St. Charles and hopping on/off at different points. Along the way, stop at some of Reagan & Taylor's favorites, including The Delachaise (wine bar), The Columns Hotel (historic hotel bar with great patio), Fat Harry's (local watering hole), Audubon Park, and Camellia Grill (classic diner). Purchase a one-day pass for $3 from the driver (CASH ONLY) or through the GoMobile app.
Jazz Brunch
Jazz brunch in New Orleans is unlike brunch anywhere else. Our ABSOLUTE favorite is Commander's Palace, but Brennan's and Palace Cafe both have good ones too! You'll likely need reservations in advance, and some have dress code requirements (but it is worth it!).
Pat O'Brien's
Grab a hurricane and sit on the patio or drink it while waiting in line for the dueling piano bar. Just don't drink more than 2 on Friday if you plan to make it to the wedding! Make sure to go to the one off Bourbon St. instead of the one on the River.
Acme Oyster House
Chow down on chargrilled (Taylor's favorite) or raw (Reagan's favorite) oysters. If oysters aren't your thing, try the "10 Napkin Roast Beef" and "Fried Peace Maker" po-boys.
Frenchmen Street
A fun street (that isn't Bourbon Street) to visit at night with some of the best live music in the world.
