Can we bring kids?

While we absolutely LOVE the little ones, we regretfully cannot include them at the wedding due to size constraints. Plus, we really want you to be able to have a great time, relax, and let loose as we celebrate together!

What are some typical New Orleans traditions we might see?

Reception-Style Weddings: New Orleans weddings are essentially one massive party, so tradition is to have a cocktail-style reception (think festive food stations and no formal seating chart). This maximizes the amount of time that people can spend partying on the dance floor - we promise you'll love it! Second lines: We love any excuse for a band and parade. When you see us marching around with umbrellas and handkerchiefs, grab one & join in the fun! Cake pulls: Tradition dating back to the Victorian Era where a selected group of women pull ribbons with charms on the end from the wedding cake. Each charm represents something associated with fortune or well wishes. "Go Cups": New Orleans has no open-container laws, so we love to bring go cups anywhere! Feel free to ask for one when leaving a restaurant or take a drink from your hotel to walk through the streets. Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler: People in New Orleans know how to have fun.
