We met at the gym, became fast friends, and eventually realized life was better together. Now we’re getting married, have had a baby, and couldn’t be happier for what’s ahead.

Randy proposed at Gozzer, on one of the most beautiful holes overlooking the lake. Part of the reason we are getting married here. I had a feeling something might be coming, but he quickly steered me away from that by convincing me we were there for a gender reveal. He had a whole setup with a cake and a romantic dinner just for the two of us, which in hindsight should have been my first clue… but I went with it. When we cut into the cake for the "gender reveal", it was completely white. I immediately thought someone made a mistake and, in true fashion, didn’t really know what to do. Randy told me to turn around, and there he was, down on one knee. I remember thinking on the drive up, “This feels like a lot for just a gender reveal,” but Randy loves a good surprise… and he definitely delivered. Afterward, we celebrated with dinner, and somewhere in the middle of it all, we realized we still didn’t know the gender of our baby.

What started as a meeting at the gym turned into something we never could have planned: building a life together, getting married, and starting a family all at once. We’ve always been a balance; Randy is the calm to my storm, and I keep things just interesting enough. It works in the best way. We’re so excited to have welcomed our son, Callan, who will be about 7 months old at the wedding. This season of life may look a little busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most!
