A 25% deposit is required on the day the booking is placed, with the remaining balance due 60 days before arrival. We have blocked the following cottages. You may choose to plan with friends and family and get a cottage together since they have multiple bedrooms. Whatever works for you. This is an Inn and Pub in the heart of the Village of Winchcombe. No rooms are blocked. A nice option if you prefer not to stay in one of the Sudeley Cottages that are blocked.

Travel Note

Getting to Sudeley Castle and Winchcombe

Driving Sudeley Castle and it's surrounding village Wincombe is a 90-minute drive from London Heathrow. If you're comfortable driving on the other side of the road, there are plenty of options for rental cars. We have had good luck with SIXT. For those wishing to organise a taxi, there a multiple options to use and whilst Uber is easily available in London, we would recommend booking with an independent company in advance for a guaranteed service. We've used Addison Lee for pre-booked taxis. Trains The closest train station to Sudeley Castle is Cheltenham Spa which is a 2hr direct journey from London Paddington. London Paddington can be reached from London Heathrow in a direct service on the Elizabeth Line or the Heathrow Express. Once at Cheltenham Spa, you will need to organise a taxi to Sudeley Castle or its surrounding village Winchcombe. Taxis will need to be booked in advance, and we can recommend either of the following local companies: Starline Taxis of Cheltenham: 01242 250250 AndyCars: 01242 262611 Cleeve Line Taxis: 01242 374224 Transportation will be provided for all wedding guests on the day of the wedding from and back to the Village.
