A gorgeous replica of the Parthenon in Athens, located in one of our favorites, Centennial Park.
This is one of our favorite parks in the city. We love to take our dogs on walks here. It's a great place to go for a walk or run or have a picnic. For any Swifities, you can also sit on a bench referenced in Taylor Swift's song, "Invisible String."
Cheekwood is a gorgeous and historic 55-acre botanical garden that also features an art museum. They have really neat events throughout the year, especially in the fall!

A really neat non-profit film center that often shows obscure or classic films!

If you're looking for cute neighborhoods to explore, 12South is definitely a great one to consider. It offers lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and quirky stores. There's also really cool murals and the homes are absolutely gorgeous. Other must-see neighborhoods in Nashville include: 1. Hillsboro - cozy neighborhood with good food, shops, and the Belcourt Theatre 2. Wedgewood-Houston - great coffee shops, restaurants, parks, cidery, and even a bodega all within a 0.5 walking radius 3. The Nations - a little industrial but mostly walkable; lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, and Jeni's ice cream! 4. Sylvan Park (our personal favorite) - super walkable with so many good food options. Our favorites include Park Cafe, Common Ground (get the focaccia), Cafe Nonna, and ML Rose (try the Sgt. Pepper burger).
If you're young, or young at heart, this wouldn't be a complete list if it didn't include Broadway. Broadway is the spot if getting kicked out of Jason Aldean's bar is your idea of a fun night or if you're dying to ride a pedal tavern and yell "WOO!" repeatedly. Definitely worth a visit.
The best coffee in Nash is another hot topic of debate. If you're a coffee lover, here are some of the best options: 1. Crema (has excellent pastries as well) - multiple locations in Brentwood and Hermitage. The Cuban is both our favorites. 2. Red Bicycle - multiple locations in the Nations, Germantown, and more 3. Sump - if you love a good pour-over 4. 8th & Roast - multiple locations in Sylvan Park, 12South, and more 5. Elegy - great seasonal drinks 6. Caliber Coffee - if you're a fan of sweet coffee drinks
If you're looking to try good southern food, Monell's breakfast is a must-try. This is a family-style restaurant, so be prepared to sit next to people you don't know - but it just adds to the charm!
As cider fans, our go-to spot is Diskin Cider in the super-cool Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. If you're a fan of craft beers, here are some of the best breweries Nash offers: 1. Bearded Iris Brewery - locations in Sylvan Park and Germantown 2. Tennessee Brew Works - downtown location
One of the best espresso martinis in Nash and a super cute atmosphere. Be warned - it gets super crowded on the weekends. Hit up Twilight Tavern across the street if the crowd is too much.
If you're looking for the best pizza in Nashville, this is the spot. Close runner-up is Midnight Oil in The Nations neighborhood.
Hugh-Baby's is THE spot if you want a great but cheap burger. There are a couple locations, but our go to is in West Nashville. Our go to's are the regular cheeseburger and the shroom and swiss burger.
The best hot chicken in Nashville is a hot topic of debate. If you ask someone who makes the best hot chicken, you'll probably get one of three answers: 1. Hattie B's 2. Prince's 3. Helen's Each of these have multiple locations, and you can't really go wrong with any of them. Hattie B's is our usual spot because they win out in the sides and dessert department (get their mac n cheese and 'nana pudding), but Prince's is excellent as well.
Nick and Taylor's absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Nashville. Our favorite dishes include the pad thai and the red curry.
East Nashville is one of the best areas to explore if you're a foodie like us. If you love Vietnamese food, East Side Banh Mi is by far our favorite option. The pork bahn mi with pate is our go-to order.
As residents of West Nashville, we are lucky enough to live just minutes away from arguably the best pho spot in Nashville - VN Pho & Deli. Doesn't look like much from the outside, and parking is terrible - but the food is worth it.
Our favorite Indian spot in Nashville (so far) is Sindoore in Donelson. Our go to order includes lots of garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and dal. 615 Chutney is also great, especially if you're wanting Sri Lankan food.
The best hot pot in Nashville (that we know of).
One of our favorite traditions is "Friday Night Sushi" and Sonobana is our usual spot. Rebekah roll is our go to but you can't really go wrong.
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, just take a drive down Nolensville Pike. Seriously. There are so many authentic Mexican food spots and trucks on this stretch to try. One of our favorite places on this stretch is Laura's Cocina.
If you're looking for a nice sit-down dinner, Margot in the heart of East Nash is a great option for French-inspired dishes.
Sarabha's is a great Indian ice cream option.
Jeni's is our absolute favorite ice cream place. Although not exclusive to Nashville, it is by far the best. Our favorite flavor is the salted peanut butter. A kid's scoop is bigger than you'd think. If you want to try a local ice cream shop, Bobbie's Dairy Dip in West Nashville is our favorite soft-serve ice cream option.
