Traveling to the Outer Banks: You have two viable options here!

2) You can fly into the area and rent a car to finish your journey. Details below:
The two closest airports to the Outer Banks are Norfolk International Airport (ORF) and Raleigh Durham-International Airport (RDU).
Which airport should you fly into? Natalie and I are bias, but Norfolk International Airport is our favorite for a few reasons. This is an extremely small airport and navigating it is a breeze. Natalie and I also live only 10 minutes away from here. From ORF you will have a 3 hour drive to our venue (1.5 hours getting to OXB and 1.5 hours driving down the coast).
While we haven't used RDU personally, it is a slightly larger airport and may have more flights in and out. From here it is a 4 hour drive to our venue (3 hours to OBX and 1 hour driving down the coast).
