Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Taylor Haselton and Natalie Lattanzi
Welcome to the Outer Banks! OBX for Short. If this is your first time here... this page is for you! You won't want to miss the information bellow... OBX is a series of thin barrier islands that hug the coast of NC and extend into South Eastern VA. These islands are bordered to the west by the Albemarle Sound and to the East by the Atlantic Ocean. From the VA border to the southern end of the Islands there are 120 miles of fun to be had. Beaches: Can't go wrong here, these are easily the best beaches in the mid-atlantic. Each town has a series of beach accesses. The farther south you go, the more isolated the beaches get. Driving on the Beach: Driving on the beach is encouraged! You just need a permit and a 4x4 vehicle. Don't have one? Taylor's family does! Don't hesitate to ask for a tour, ride or tips. Additionally, there's plenty of shopping, dining, national parks, nature trails, wild horses and lighthouses to find. Below you'll find links to each of these activities:
