Counting down the days until "We Do."

We met on a blind date set up by our wonderful friends, Nathan and Jenny Fish. We dined at Ru Sans, here in Charlotte, played pinball at Abari Arcade Bar, and the rest would become our history. It felt like love at first sight; the moment we began talking, something clicked. It felt as though we had known one another for ages prior. Love became effortless.

We were traveling on our annual 'big trip' which happened to take place in Seattle, WA. It wasn't planned, but it was perfect. We were alone in a preserve park just off of Alki Beach, outside of Seattle. There was a tiny waterfall and river stream that would be a great photo opportunity. As he set up the camera, I stood in the river on a slate of rock and found a small bowl of faux diamonds (we are pretty sure Big Foot left them for us.) As we were looking through the diamonds, he said, "Look at this one (diamond) I found" gesturing to the ring, and proposed!
