We're getting married!

We first crossed paths in 2018 while working at a seasonal restaurant, but the timing wasn’t quite right. A year later, fate stepped in when we unexpectedly reconnected during our summer internships in Dubuque. One spontaneous dinner turned into the best unplanned first date—but the rest wasn’t history… just yet. The very next day, I headed back to college in Madison (great timing, right?), while Miles stayed in Dubuque. It wasn’t until winter break that we reunited, and I introduced Miles to my family. He won over my parents by taking them to dinner (and picking up the bill). Let’s just say Fred may have fallen for Miles even faster than I did. We officially started dating in February 2020—just in time for a global pandemic. Luckily, we made it through that wild time together and have spent the past five years traveling, moving into our first apartment, welcoming sweet nieces and nephews, celebrating career milestones, and most recently… getting engaged! We can’t wait to begin this next chapter surrounded by all of you who mean so much to us. Oh, and the next time you see Miles, be sure to ask him for his version of this story. ;)
