We’re getting married!

We were both going to school for civil engineering and Taylor was the Vice President of one of the University of Idaho engineering clubs on campus and I was a member. The first time we ever really hung out was in 2015 at a "Train" concert in Boise when Taylor was interning there for the summer. When we got back to school we hung out more and more until we became official in 2017. 💞

Taylor completely surprised me and proposed when we were visiting Alaska last November! It was a beautiful Saturday morning and he poured himself a big glass of wine, asking me if I wanted any. Of course I said no, it was 9 AM…I didn’t think much of it at the time but Taylor was mimicking the way I made it “official” 5 years ago. Which was chug a huge glass of wine and tell him we had to have a serious talk! 😂 Flash forward 5 years, and we are packing up our bags in his bedroom in Alaska. He quickly finishes his wine and sets it down, and I start to sense his nerves. I ask, “what are you doing?” And before I know it Taylor is down on one knee asking me to marry him. I of course said yes and we spent the rest of the day on cloud nine celebrating! 🥂 We are so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in June!
