After living in the Savannah area for two years, we have complied a list of some activities you might be interested in while you are in town. We hope you enjoy the city as much as we do!

Explore Downtown Savannah

Savannah has 23 historic squares and parks to explore. Savannah has an open container policy, grab a drink to go, and enjoy walking around and seeing the history!

Tybee Island

If you are looking for a day trip, we recommend visiting Tybee Island. Relax by the ocean and afterwards you can try one of the many different restaurants in the area (we love AJ's Dockside Restaurant or The Deck Beachbar and Kitchen).

Old Town Trolley Tours

This is a hop on, hop off trolley tour that passes 100 sites and makes 16 stops. See and learn about all the history Savannah has to offer. This is a great way for first time visitors to see the city!

Telfair Museums

Enjoy an afternoon of exploring over 200 years of art, history, and architecture in the heart of downtown Savannah. Telfair tickets include unlimited admission to all three sites for one week from the date of purchase.

Old Fort Jackson

This is a early 19th-century fort is the oldest standing brick fortification in Georgia. It is also a National Historic Landmark that offers multi-era military history information and demonstrations.
