Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon are home to 4 world-class ski resorts in the winter, and hiking and picnic areas in the summer. The weather in June is perfect for a hike/picnic, or even a scenic drive. Our favorite BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON hikes: - Donut Falls (Easy) - Silver Lake Loop (Easy) - Twin Lakes (Moderate) Our favorite LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON hikes: - Lisa Falls (Easy) - Cecret Lake (Moderate) - Bells Canyon Trail to Lower Falls (Hard) - Non-hike: Snowbird Summer Tram!

National Parks
If you are looking to make this trip an extended trip for exploring Utah, we would recommend visiting any of the Utah "Mighty 5" National Parks. We have personally visited 4 out of the 5 parks, and have only positive things to say. Please reach out if you want any recommendations.
