We met on our first day at Northwestern! We were in the same orientation group and then partners in our first-year design class. We became best friends that year and started dating in the fall of our sophomore year. With our college friend group, we frequently hosted board game nights and went to NU games. After graduation, we spent most weekends going back and forth between the suburbs and Chicago where we each work. In 2023 we moved downtown with our cat Zella, and we adopted our second cat, Athena, soon after. Kannon proposed April 10, 2024, and we are now looking forward to married life!
