We would be remiss if we did not yell from the rooftops that Midtown Oyster Bar, hands down, has the BEST Espresso Martinis! They are also famous for their fresh seafood and expansive raw bar menu. Local secret, hit the upstairs bar on the second floor!
O'Brien's Pub
Grab a green chair with a mustache at Obrien's Pub Outdoor patio! Family friendly, doggy friendly, and adult friendly with the best frozen cocktails in town! We recommend the Frozen Mudslide, a Strawberry Daquiri with a Meyers float, or if your feelin' frisky a George-a-Rita! You can't go wrong under the sun and shade with loved ones here!
Newport Mansions Preservation Society
For those history buffs out there, be sure to book a tour at one of Newport Mansions Preservation Society historic mansions; including The Breakers, The Elms, Rosecliff, and Marble House. Ocean Drive Historic District
Newport's Ocean Drive is a ten mile drive famous for it's scenic views, luxurious homes and historic mansions; all along Newport's Southern coastline. Head to Brenton Point Park for a picnic, kite flying, or hike along the rocky shoreline. More highlights of Ocean Drive include; Kings Park, Ida Lewis Yacht Club, New York Yacht Club, Fort Adams State Park, Hammersmith Farm (John F. Kennedy's wedding reception was here in 1953!), Castle Hill Inn, Gooseberry Beach, and so much more!
