It started with a "Hey :)".... In the classic way of online dating. Many messages later Jordan asked to meet at the local ale house in Mount Pleasant, MI. "Hunters".... Taylor, declined. Taylor was busy continuing her education for her Doctorate in Audiology while Jordan was working on his Bachelor's in Exercise Science at Central Michigan University. A week after being denied they went on their first date at the local ale house, "Hunters". It was that date that started it all. Since then they have lived in three homes, three different states, adopted their three fur babies, Harper, Harley and Ragnar and got engaged!

Christmas has always been Taylor's favorite time of the year and Chicago has always been one of Jordan's favorite cities. In December, Jordan took Taylor on her first trip to Chicago where they visited Jordan's brother and sister-in-law. They spent the whole day visiting Lincoln Park, going to pop up Christmas bars and reminiscing on all of Jordan's favorite Chicago spots. Later that night, they went to see the Lincoln Park Zoo lights (unfortunately the line was too long to get in) but that didn't stop him from finding the perfect spot to pop the question with Christmas lights and the Chicago skyline in the background! Taylor was SO surprised and couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment!
