We strongly recommend staying at Grand Velas Boutique Hotel, where our wedding will be hosted. Guests who opt to stay at another hotel will need to notify us in advance, as our contract only allows for a certain percentage of our guests to stay off site. We also incur a $355 fee for each individual who stays off site, so kindly let us know in advance if you plan on coming and staying at another hotel/AirBNB. We encourage guests with children or larger families to stay at the sister property next door, Grand Velas Los Cabos. Guests can flow freely between the resorts with golf carts. We do not incur additional fees for guests who stay at the sister property.
Please do not book with third party websites, as it will not count towards our wedding room block. Please contact us directly if you see a cheaper price advertised elsewhere and we will price match for you.
Most room types have one King Bed. The Garden Room type has 2 double beds. There are limited Garden Rooms remaining so please book ASAP. Guests who need larger rooms are encouraged to book at the sister property, Grand Velas Los Cabos. Please contact us if you need to stay at the sister property.
No. Our contract has a three night minimum. However, if you can only come for 1-2 nights, please contact us directly and we can talk about exceptions.
Yes. There are 3 on-site restaurants and 7 restaurants at the sister property next door. All 10 options are included in your resort stay. One of the restaurants has a Michelin star!

As soon as you are able to. We recommend booking your flights and lodging at least 6 months prior to our wedding. Via our resort booking link, only a one night deposit will be due upon booking. The remainder of your fees will be due by October 19th, 2026.
Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)
Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to and from Mexico. Please ensure that you have an unexpired passport. According to the U.S customs and Border Protections, airlines can be strict about ensuring that your passport has at least 6 MONTHS of validity remaining. Allow yourself 6-8 weeks to get a passport or to update your old one.
No, children are not allowed to stay at the Grand Velas Boutique Resort. The resort is Adults Only (age 18+) and all of our wedding events are also adults only. If you plan on bringing children, we recommend you stay at the sister property next door (Grand Velas Los Cabos). However, we would need you to make arrangements for someone to watch the minors during our wedding and wedding events at Velas Boutique. Please contact us directly if you plan on bringing children, as we have to request approval for any wedding guests who stay offsite and bring children.
The legal drinking age is 18. If you are bringing a minor that is not yet 21 but older than 18, drinks will be served freely by staff at the resort so please keep that in mind :)
