Come Celebrate With Us!

They met on a dating app called Bumble!! They both happened to swipe right - Taylor fell in love with his kind eyes and Daniel could see she was a natural beauty. When he asked Taylor to go on a breakfast date she knew he was different from everybody else. Daniel told Taylor to meet him at Brighton Beach at around 7 AM on Monday morning. When Taylor drove up she saw a man cooking from scratch a beautiful breakfast, she heard music (Dawes - Everything) playing and he had tea waiting for her. They took a selfie by Lake Superior that would become a tradition every year and acts as a way to remind them where they started and where they've been. They had the most magical date and it ended with a kiss on the cheek from Daniel. Best first date ever.

Life from the first date for Taylor and Daniel was filled with adventure, happiness, and laughter. That first year they began slowly falling in love. Well, Taylor not so slowly but she kept her cool. They traveled together to meet each other's families and had fun wherever they went. Daniel traveled and was away from Taylor for a couple months but absence truly made the heart grow fonder. When he came back they knew this was truly something special. In the second year, Daniel was Taylor's rock while she decided to change her career to work on building her own business. Families grew closer, and they started to go on more adventures including travel together out West for their birthdays. In the third year, they survived a pandemic while moving in together and quarantining in Taylor's tiny apartment. They found they lived easily together and decided to start house hunting. Once they found a house, they made it a home. After a while, they prepared for a long road trip to see the West. Unfortunately, Daniel soon lost his mom and life became hard and sad. It is the hardest thing they have ever had to go through and Daniel was happy he had Taylor to love and support him. Cathy is very much missed every day and they wish that she could be there with them on their special day. With her passing, they adopted her cute dog, Henry, and he became an irreplaceable member of their new family. In their fourth year together they started a business in Cathy's honor and expanded Taylor's other business. Daniel found a new job and is growing in his career as well. Through all of ups and downs they had each other to lean on. They are each other's biggest supporters and are so happy to have each other as life partners To have found each other so early in life is a blessing. All of this lead up to the most amazing moment on our fifth anniversary...

On their 5th Anniversary they went to Brighton Beach and recreated the breakfast from their first date, as they do every year. After breakfast they took their annual photo by the lake. Daniel asked Taylor to take Henry and look out at the lake while he took a photo of her. Taylor turned back around to see he was down on one knee holding the most beautiful ring! Taylor was so shocked she asked him to ask her again! He asked "will you marry me" with the biggest smile. Taylor will never forget his face when he asked her. She said yes, of course! They hugged and kissed. She was in utter shock. She cycled between bouts of laughing and speechlessness and then came the tears. Daniel laughed with her and felt like it was a dream. He was relieved she said yes and loved the ring and felt happy and satisfied that his planning came to be. They continued the celebration by dining at a special restaurant in Minneapolis! Another surprise from Daniel! We are so in love and cannot wait to celebrate this new beginning with all of you as HUSBAND & WIFE! See you in Duluth!

Daniel and Taylor will be having an intimate ceremony on Lake Superior where they had their first date and where we were engaged. The pastor will be Taylor's Grandpa. The Lake is very special to the bride and groom. We only have space for a small amount of people* and we so excited to be able to celebrate with all of you the next day at our Reception! *formal invitations will be sent out with more information

Yayy! The party has begun! The reception will take place at an old dairy barn on gorgeous land that has been beautifully renovated to accommodate weddings. This will be a colossal party celebrating our love. All of our loved ones can come to eat, drink, dress up, play games, dance and be together in God's beautiful Northwoods!
