We're Getting Married!

Dakota and Taylor first met at a mutual friend’s house during a winter freeze. He was 16, and she was 14, and from the very beginning they instantly clicked and became best friends. That same night, Dakota led Taylor to accept Jesus into her heart, a moment that would become the foundation of everything their story would grow into. Not long after, their friendship turned into love. Their journey together hasn’t always been easy. Being young and still learning who they were, they faced many ups and downs and eventually decided to take a break. Even while apart, they never stopped thinking about each other. No matter how far life seemed to take them, they both knew deep down that their story wasn’t over. Two years later, life brought them back together. Dakota reached out, and from the moment they saw each other again, it felt like no time had passed at all. They quickly realized that home had always been with each other. Through every challenge, their faith and their love only grew stronger. Dakota knew he didn’t want to wait any longer. He knew that forever together was the only path he wanted, and together they decided that nothing would ever keep them apart again. Their story is proof that with Jesus at the center, love can overcome anything, and every bump in the road only made their bond stronger. They are so thankful for everyone who has been part of their journey — past, present, and future.
