There are not words to describe the relationship and importance Claire holds for her parents. That being said, we love keeping them up late like teenagers: gossiping, chatting, and drinking! Thank you Dad for always having a cocktail, wine, or beer ready for us after long drives! Fun fact, a few moments after this photo Claire pulled away with William (brother) and Taylor hung back with Bill and Mel to ask their permission to marry their daughter!

Bob has played just about every role in Taylor’s life. From coach to home mortgage consultant, there isn’t a problem that Bob isn’t willing to help with. Despite his gray hair, he can still beat Taylor up the bike trail and down the slopes, on the same day. A true role model! Bob has loved getting to know Claire over the past six years, trading stories of dogs and landscaping. And as usual, he is always willing to give a couple of ski tips after a long day on the mountain. We appreciate all you’ve done, and everything you continue to do for the both of us!

Big sis Chelsea! She has been Claire's role model for forever, including stealing her favorite colors and her eyeliner. Taylor and Chelsea got along from the get go and it has been such a kind and sweet friendship to watch blossom.
Stephanie Aldrete

Stephanie has been our biggest fan since day one! Even though Stephanie’s cheerleading career ended while she was in high school, she always has words of encouragement no matter the occasion. She never fails to provide us with a couple pieces of timeless advice. Further, Stephanie always has a new brewery to share with Claire & Taylor, to help feed our love for beer!

Ah, sweet Gretchen. The second oldest sister of Claire, they met at birth and have been feisty, goofy, and stubborn buds ever since. Although she is a sour beer fan, we still love her to pieces!
Nathan Danziger
Best Man
Taylor and Nathan have been best buds for over 20 years, from baseball, to swimming, to cruising on bikes through every part of Orinda. Despite attending different colleges, Nathan has remained close with Taylor and Claire, taking any chance he can get to visit them in San Luis Obispo and Reno.

Claire fell hard and fast for Taylor when Claire moved to Reno and started work at the same company as her. Their friendship started with a beer festival and they have had so many adventures since, with her partner Deon and Fig's best friend Honey!
William (Bumbum) Schauer

Bum is the youngest sibling and only brother in the Schauer family. Claire and William grew up very close, as the "babies of the family". Taylor and William became fast friends, chatting about everything from music to dogs to the economy. We love our crazy dude! PS no other photo describes William better, classic little brother.
Gabby Scioli

Gabby was in the College orientation group of Claire's good friend Elaina. When Claire's orientation group met up with Elaina's at one event, Gabby came screaming and running after Claire (apparently Elaina had only lovely things to say about her!), gave her the largest hug she has ever experienced and they haven't let go since. Claire can't imagine life without this kooky sweet gal!
Riley Calvert

Riley has never known Claire without Taylor or Taylor without Claire. Before our dog (Fig), we considered Riley to be our child, even though he was only a couple of years younger than the both of us. Claire and Taylor took everything they learned about parenting and applied it to Riley when they met him about halfway through college, whether he liked it or not. Before long, Riley had become one of Claire and Taylor’s best friends from San Luis Obispo, and one of the only ones who could tag along on one of our “dates” without regretting it after 15 minutes. So much so, that Riley decided to live with Claire and Taylor during the Summer of 2018, the same year that they decided to move to Reno! We couldn’t have done the move without you, Son!

Kristin popped into Claire and Taylor's life by fate! She is such an amazing friend to both, even though distance has always plagued them. We were in Cal Poly, she was at Davis. We were in the bay, she was in San Diego. We were in Reno, she was in Atlanta! Regardless of miles, she means the world to us! The festival Claire and Taylor met her at, Claire looked adoringly at Kristin and told her "in another life, we would have been best friends". Well jokes on Claire, that is the life they are living!
Luke Ostrom

Although Luke has been a friend of Taylor’s since Elementary school, he also attended Cal Poly SLO with Claire and Taylor. He has remained close with the both them over the past few years and, most notably, took Claire and Taylor to Heavenly on the most insane powder day (4 feet, Claire’s first powder day). You’ll have to ask Claire how that day ended.
Aria Kenney

Aria has been in Claire’s life since lil’ kid soccer days! In high school, they bonded over sarcasm, giggles, and dancing. Their bond has only grown, evolved, and strengthened over the past ~20 years. Claire couldn’t imagine a moment without her and is so blessed and excited to have this kind, caring, absolute goof ball soul next her on her wedding day!
Jeff Clark

Jeff has been close with Claire and Taylor for a long time now. Since high school, Jeff has been an open book about diet and exercise, and Claire & Taylor miss no chances poking his brain about nutrition and the body. Jeff can always be counted on to lead the way through the most difficult of hikes while we are out in the Sierras, or as we like to say, “he can be the bear bait.”

Summer is one of Claire's oldest friends, since early elementary days. Summer has always given Claire the best fits of giggles, trustworthy makeup advice, and loads of lazy day snuggles. Since pre-teen days they have been telling each other they would be each other's bridesmaids and it fills Claire with joy to see the prediction come true and have Summer by her side!

Even though Willie may not remember, he and Taylor met while playing on the same basketball team in elementary school. It wasn’t until later, during high school, when Taylor finally shared the news with Willie (and to his dismay) that they had actually met years before. If you’re wondering, Willie’s basketball talent has not improved since 3rd grade.

Dani hasn’t just been Taylor’s older sister. She has been a best friend, mentor, role-model, and much more. We both wish that we could be students in her Kindergarten class in San Francisco, what a dream!

Spencer has been around Claire and Taylor since the very beginning, and has always been a great friend to both of them. As a roommate of Taylor’s for three years in college, Spencer has witnessed it all. Spencer can always be counted on to go play a round of golf and share crazy sports facts that not even ESPN statisticians could dig up.

Kara and Claire met Freshman year of college through this coocoo mutual friends of theirs, Elaina. They immediately hit it off! They loved coffee (maybe too much...), working hard, and playing hard! Kara became quite a role model to Claire through the years, but she can still play just as hard as she works! Claire can’t imagine her wedding day without her. she won’t let Claire forget a thing but she might also be the one pouring the champagne!
Matt Coupin

Matt and Taylor met in Elementary school, and happened to live about 2 minutes from one another, separated only by 1/2 mile of a 19-degree grade, half-crumbling street. The two spent countless days biking across Orinda, exploring the Sierra Nevadas, and boating until daybreak. Matt’s crazy travels across the globe, combined with his interest in material science, make for endless story telling around the campfire.

It speaks volumes that when it came to finding a photo of Elaina and Claire, they were few and far between! Elaina and Claire met Freshman year of college through their sorority. It didn’t take long for them to be laughing like best friends and bickering like siblings! Elaina is both the angel and the devil on Claires shoulder and how could she get married without both present!!

As a college roommate of three years, Cody has been close with Taylor and Claire since 2014. Cody’s endless supply of practical jokes and party themes made for too many memorable times, including replacing a fraternity brother’s car seats with beach chairs, and then stuffing the car with newspaper until the doors just barely shut. You will have to ask around at the wedding who the unfortunate recipient of that prank was.

Becky has been a part of Taylor’s life for almost 15 years. As Danielle & Taylor’s younger half-sister, she has embodied only the best traits of her older siblings. Her curiosity is contagious! We highly encourage you to strike up a conversation with her about one of her favorite topics, animation!

JB has been a great friend to Claire and Taylor since they met in college. His curiosity for music and any & all adventure has made for some incredible shared experiences between them. From camping in Death Valley, to late night karaoke in Mexico. There is never a dull moment when you are hangin’ with JB!
Adam Brager

Adam has been a good friend of Taylor's since a young age. Despite going to different elementary schools, they always seemed to end up on the same sports teams. In recent years, Adam has become especially close with Taylor and Claire, and has spent countless days with them on the slopes, camping off-grid, and playing cards next to crackling fires. Anyone who knows Adam, knows that he is authentic, compassionate, and kind-hearted. There’s no better person to stand at the altar with Claire and Taylor.

As a close friend from college, Zach never fails to bring smiles to Claire and Taylor. His hobby of mixing music has brought us loads of late nights, grooving to his tunes. If you come across Zach at the wedding, chances are he is preparing his mix for the post-reception celebration at the Convict Lake Restaurant & Bar.

We are so excited to have our sweet, giggly, handsome, soon to be walking nephew strut his stuff on our wedding day! Franco can flirt with the best of them, so be warned! He's got his mama's eyebrows (Chelsea) and his dad's goof (Diego), Claire and Taylor's favorite qualities of Claire's sister and brother-in-law!

Jack is a close friend of Taylor’s from high school. To describe Jack as an adventurist would be an understatement. Lucky for Claire and Taylor, they have been able to tag along with Jack for a number of crazy weekend trips, including Claire & Taylor’s (and Fig’s!) very first backpacking trip just outside of Yosemite. Jack has also introduced countless musical artists to Claire and Taylor, and always comes ready to share his latest findings.

We are so blessed to have our child have a special part in the day! It only made sense to have our bud be there on the day her parents promise themselves to each other and legally become Mr and Mrs Mama and Papa! Beware of love nips, tail whips, and the classic jump and hugs! If she drops a ball at your feet, do not buy into her games, you will be trapped all night as her personal fetch machine.

Diego is Claire’s brother-in-law, but a definitely just a brother and ultimate friend to both Claire and Taylor! They spent many weekends of their early dating years at Chelsea and Diego’s house, spending way too much time watching vines and laughing even harder with/at goofy goofy Diego. Taylor and Diego have become incredible friends over the years. Some might say out of necessity, fending for themselves from the crazy Schauer women!
