Details and FAQ's

Dear family and friends, Due to the current circumstances we have decided to have a ceremony only wedding. In an effort to maintain social distance and protect our at risk family members we will be seating the chapel according to the recommended guidelines. After the ceremony please join us for a champagne toast and cake. We continue to monitor the situation and encourage all our guests to wear the appropriate protective gear when gathering in large groups. There will be a plan to seat every family unit with proper spacing and hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the chapel.
Question

Will the wedding be canceled due to Covid-19?

Answer

No, we have altered our original plans of a larger wedding to an intimate Ceremony and a champagne and cake small reception.

Question

What measures are you taking to protect your guests?

Answer

The following are the guidelines we will be following per Ashton Gardens' recommendation: - Persons with a fever of over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, cough, or shortness of breath should not attend the event - Practice Social Distancing for persons not occupants of the same household you are required to stand and be seated at least six feet apart - Guests are required to practice responsible hygiene to include hand washing and attend with Personal Protective Equipment (masks)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive early, the ceremony will begin promptly at 7pm. Plan for heavy traffic on a Friday evening in Atlanta.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

There will be a champagne toast and cake cutting after the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, Ashton Gardens has plenty of parking onsite.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? We've hired professionals to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely, we love having the little humans around! We do however request that any children and other guests not originally addressed on the invitation be verified with the bride or groom prior to submitting your rsvp

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a cash donation registry on Zola if you would like to contribute to our first home fund. Check out the "Wishing Well" page.
