What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Monterey Regional is just fifteen minutes away from our house. San Jose airport is about an hour and thirty minutes. SFO is a little over two hours away. There is a shuttle (Monterey Airbus) that you can purchase a seat on if you’d prefer that to renting a car.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

As soon as possible! Not only is October the most beautiful time in Carmel but it is also Columbus Day weekend and will most likely be a very busy time in the area with tourists.

What kind of transportation is being provided?

Answer

We will be having shuttles begin picking up guests at Carmel Mission Inn at 3:30. Shuttles will begin taking guests to the reception venue immediately following the ceremony. At the end of the night, shuttles will begin taking guests back to Carmel Mission Inn from 10:30-12:00. If you choose to drive, there will be complimentary valet at the ceremony venue and there is free parking at the reception venue. Please drive safe. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.
