Taylor Joi Mckelphin Moore

The Bride, The Queen of the Occasion

The bride is someone who leads with love, strength, and authenticity in everything she does. She has a vibrant spirit, a deep sense of loyalty, and a heart that pours into the people she cares about most. From building lifelong friendships to embracing motherhood, she has navigated life’s highs and lows with grace and resilience. She values connection, laughter, and meaningful experiences—whether that’s traveling the world, creating lasting memories with loved ones, or simply showing up fully for the people in her life. Her journey has shaped her into the woman she is today: compassionate, driven, and full of love. Marrying her best friend is not just a new chapter, but a beautiful continuation of a life rooted in love, growth, and purpose.

Abdoulaye Bocar Ly

The Groom, His Grace, The King of Devotion

Ablaye, known to many as Ab, is a man defined by his strength, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to the people he loves. Since coming to California from Senegal, he has built a life grounded in hard work, resilience, and purpose. He carries himself with quiet confidence and a deep sense of responsibility, always striving to provide, protect, and uplift those around him. Ab is the kind of person who leads by example—steadfast, dependable, and full of heart. He values family, friendship, and integrity above all else, and his journey reflects a commitment to growth and perseverance. At his core, he is loving, supportive, and deeply devoted, making him not only an incredible partner, but a true foundation for the life they are building together.

Chantel Kindle

Maid of Honor, Lady of Unwavering Loyalty

Chantel Kindle is not only my Maid of Honor, but a true lifelong friend who has been by my side for over 25 years. We met in the 7th grade, became cheerleaders together in high school, and have grown up side by side ever since. From traveling across the globe to becoming mothers, enduring heartbreak, and ultimately finding true love, we’ve shared so many of life’s most meaningful moments together. Chantel is the kind of person who shows up wholeheartedly—loyal, supportive, and always ready to lift me up when I need it most. Having her stand beside me on this day means more than words can express, and I’m so grateful for a friendship that has truly stood the test of time. Taylor and I met in middle school at McKinley Performing Arts School. We were not super close, but we danced in plays together, so we would interact at times. We grew closer in high school, we cheered together, and were always together. Taylor is one of my closest friends, and I'm proud to say she’s been like a sister to me for over 20 years!

Babacar Camara

Best Man, His Lordship, The Gentleman of Unyielding Loyalty

Babacar is not only the Best Man, but one of Ablaye's closest and most trusted friends. Their friendship began in college after Ablaye came to California from Senegal, and over the past 25 years, it has grown into a true brotherhood. Babacar has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and motivation—always pushing Ablaye to be his best. Through every stage of life, he has shown unwavering loyalty and strength. Having him stand by Ablaye's side on this day is a reflection of a friendship built on respect, resilience, and lasting connection.

Christopher Mckelphin

Groom, Lord Christopher, Guardian of the Bride

Ok. This is my version of when I first met AB. Taylor is my lil sister and was dating AB about a little over year ago. From the moment Taylor introduced us, I knew AB was going to be a special part of our lives. It has been a true joy to watch their relationship evolve from those early days into the beautiful partnership they share today. Seeing the way they support and love one another has been such a gift, and I couldn’t be happier to officially welcome him into the family. I am so honored to stand beside both of them as they begin this next chapter together!

Lady Latrisha Mabry

The Constant of love and loyal kin

Although we’re first cousins, the title has never quite captured what we truly are to each other — she is my little sister in every way that matters. I’ve had the honor of watching her grow into an extraordinary woman: a doctorate holder, a homeowner, and now a bride, and through it all, I’ve cheered her on as her biggest fan. Being chosen as the godmother of her son is one of the greatest privileges of my life, a role I don’t take lightly. Over the years, she has called on me as a sounding board, and in return, she has inspired me more than she knows — her strength, her grace, and her unwavering faith remind me of what it looks like to never give up on love or life. Today, I stand 10 toes down beside her, overflowing with pride and joy as she steps into this beautiful next chapter.

Dr. Tinai Dorton

The Crown’s Brilliant Mind and Tranquility Confidante

Our story began in 2008 in a Pfeiffer Hall freshman dorm, where a trio known as #FriscoBrooklynDena first took the stage. From those early days of stepping together to the quiet moments of supporting one another through our doctoral programs, our bond has been the one constant in an ever-changing world. We didn’t just grow up together; we grew into ourselves together, navigating the rigors of psychology and the sisterhood of Gamma Phi Delta sorority incorporated. Today, our relationship has evolved as we’ve built our own lives in different places, but the distance has only proven how deep our roots go. I’ve especially cherished the times we’ve traveled just to see each other—watching our children play together during those visits is a beautiful reminder that our family legacy is just as intertwined as our own. She is my "ride together, die together, bad girl for life,” and while the miles between us have grown, my love for her remains unchanged. I couldn't be more honored to stand by her side as she begins this beautiful new chapter. Now, let’s get her married!!!

Victoria Williams

A Distinguished Lady of Devotion, Style and Enduring Grace

The vibrant halls of Pfeiffer Hall at Clark Atlanta University in 2008 marked the start of an incredible journey. Who would have thought that joining the step team would spark a lifelong sisterhood? As psychology majors and proud sorority sisters of Gamma Phi Delta, we’ve navigated the ups and downs of life together, creating a bond that’s unbreakable. From birthdays, to graduations and baby showers I’ve been by Taylor’s side watching her blossom into an amazing friend, loyal sister, and loving mother. Now, I am absolutely thrilled to stand beside Taylor on this joyous celebration as she marries the love of her life and becomes a devoted wife to AB. Together, we’re ready to dance, celebrate, and create new memories that will last a lifetime! Here’s to love, laughter, and a beautiful future for the happy couple!

Lady Rachel Bailey

The Duchess of Beauty and Design

What started as play dates between our sons blossomed into a friendship that I now truly consider family. You’ve gone from being a "fellow boy mom" to the sister I was always meant to have. Watching you find this kind of love has been such a joy, and I am beyond honored to stand right by your side as you say "I do." Whether it’s on the altar on your wedding day or in all the messy, beautiful days that follow, I’ll always be in your corner. I can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!

Lindsay Anthony

The Matron of Enduring Devotion and First Light

I’ve been in Taylor’s life from the very beginning as her big cousin, but she won’t let me call her that, that is my sister. Growing up, it was always four of us—me and my brother, her and hers—spending time together and building a bond that never faded. I’ve always tried to keep her out of trouble, and she’s always made sure to keep me on my toes. No matter what was going on, she made it clear she wanted me included in the moments that mattered—and I’ve always shown up the same way for her. That’s just how we are. She will always be my “first” baby. I’ve had a front row seat to her growing into an amazing woman, an incredible mother, and now a beautiful bride-to-be. Watching her step into this next chapter feels full circle, and I couldn’t be more proud to stand beside her. No matter the distance, I’m always going to be there. That part doesn’t change!!!

Brianna King

Viscountess of Velvet Hands & Healing Light

From the very beginning—long before I took my first breath—Taylor has been a constant in my life. Being my elder cousin in name alone hardly captures who she truly is to me; she has always been the big sister I was blessed to have. Taylor possesses a rare and beautiful spirit rooted in love, loyalty, and unwavering devotion. She doesn’t just promise to be there—she shows up, without hesitation, in every moment, big or small. Her presence brings comfort, a quiet assurance that you are never alone. In my earliest memories, she was already my protector—fearless and steadfast. I still smile thinking about how she would defend me against my older brothers, making sure I was never left to fend for myself. From then until now, she has always made one thing clear: I am never without someone in my corner. To know Taylor is to know what it means to be deeply cared for, fiercely protected, and unconditionally loved. She has been my confidante, my defender, and my guiding light—proof that family is defined not by titles, but by the love we give. As she steps into this beautiful new chapter, I celebrate not only the bride she has become, but the extraordinary woman she has always been—one who loves wholeheartedly and stands unwaveringly, forever and always.

Aliou Ly

Groomsman, The Baron of Beginnings & Witness to Greatness

My name is Aliou Ly and I am Ablaye’s father brother (the third youngest one). I vividly remember Ablaye and his twin brother’s naming ceremony at his mother’s parent’s house. That was a very memorable day. Since then, I witness him grow and go through the several phases of human life (babyhood, childhood and adulthood). I was one of the main reason why his parents sent him to United States to continue his education in early 2004 and later his sister joined us. We all lived in Fullerton until moved to Davis in 2007 for academic purpose. Looking at him now and the kind of person he became, after all the ups and downs, I can say proudly, I am very happy of his grow and the man he becomes. The most constant element about Ablaye is he never get himself in trouble with rules of law in this country. I really appreciate that about him. I wish him good luck and meaningful life.

Haley “Baley” Lewis

The Duchess of Divine Reflection and Digital Delight

Taylor is not only a cousin to me, but a sister. From the very beginning, I’ve been her “Haley Bailey”—a nickname that stuck ever since my baptism and eventually became known by all her friends too. Although I’m the younger cousin, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow through her young adult life into the beautiful person she is today. In so many ways, I’ve always looked up to her—and somehow, life let that come full circle. From the way we think to the paths we’ve chosen in psychology, it feels like a little piece of her has always been guiding me. Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones—laughing over nothing, talking about life, and just being together in that effortless way only cousins can. I couldn’t be more honored to stand by her side as her bridesmaid and celebrate this next chapter with her. She deserves a love that’s just as genuine and special as she is.

Kirsten Johnson

Her Radiance, The Diamond of the Season

From the very beginning, Taylor was always my favorite big cousin. Growing up, she had this way of making everything feel full of joy. Whether we were roller skating together, watching Disney Channel, or baking sweet potato pies, she created a kind of warmth that stayed with me long after the moment passed. I’ve always looked up to her ambition and drive, it’s inspired me more than she probably knows. It’s been incredible to watch her become the strong, successful, and grounded person she is. As life has grown and changed, so have we, but the heart of our relationship hasn’t. There’s still that same warmth, that same comfort, and memories that means so much. Being part of her special day is such an honor, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her love, her joy, and everything that’s ahead.

Kaya Adams-Carson

Lady of Lyrical Enchantment

Both raised in Altadena Ca, Taylor and I first met as Cheer Captains of rival basketball teams 😆 Loma Alta Elementary and Noyes Elementary! We then became friends while attending McKinley Middle School of the Arts. We later attended Pasadena High School. No time nor distance has ever changed the way Taylor and I love one another, we are sisters! We have grown from young girls to women, mothers, and wives. We’ve remained connected throughout the years and I will forever be in her corner. It was not hard at all to embrace AB once seeing them together. Knowing Tay for over 20 years, I can see the match they have found in one another. How he brings out her finest qualities and how his presence cultivates her womanhood. They balance well. It’s beautiful. I love them both and I’m honored to stand beside my sister as she says “I do.”
