We’re getting married!!!

Dear Gentle Reader, It was at a most unassuming establishment—one known more for its fried fish than for the orchestration of destiny—that fate quietly made its move. Upon entering, the gentleman in question appeared thoroughly absorbed in a handheld diversion, scarcely aware of the world around him. I placed my order and, seeing only one other soul present, struck up conversation. When he glanced up in surprise and asked if I was speaking to him, I assured him—quite plainly—that indeed I was, for he was the only suitable audience. Though he returned briefly to his game, I persisted, much to his amusement, until at last my meal was announced. With a polite farewell and no expectations beyond courtesy, I departed. Yet destiny, it seems, was not finished. As I reached my car, I was called back—“Excuse me, miss.” He had followed, breathless and bold, to inquire if I might be unclaimed. Upon learning I was indeed single, he requested my number, which I gave without hesitation. Only hours later, a most proper invitation arrived, and that very evening we shared our first date. Though I entered with mild skepticism—as any sensible lady might—time revealed what that evening promised: a true gentleman, steadfast in character, devoted in spirit, and wholly worthy of love. Thus began our story—proof that even the simplest meal may lead to the grandest of futures. Thus, dear reader, what began as a casual visit for supper has concluded in a most anticipated engagement. And so it is with great delight that this author announces: The wedding of these two hearts shall take place on September 26, 2026.
