Kim Harp

Mother of the Bride

This is my loving mama. She is such an important part of my life and a truly wonderful person. My mama's taught me so many important lessons, like how to empathize and to never make assumptions about someone's situation. She taught me to think for myself and form my own opinions. She's broadened my horizons and sparked my passion for people and travel. In addition to my visions for the big day, she has always supported my crazy ideas and ambitions. I truly don't know what I would do without her! She's now a Real Estate Agent, using her big heart and immense amount of talent to help people find their dream home. If you don't know her, be sure to introduce yourself on the day of the wedding and -everyone- give her a big hug & "thanks" for making it all come to life :) -Taylor

Julia McCusker

Mother of the Groom

My mom taught me to cook, to drive a manual transmission, and to be impatient. She's an expert chef, and whenever I visit home we always make a delicious meal together. She is also an avid home re-modeller and is only truly happy when one or more rooms of the home are under construction. Additionally, she is an experienced hunter and every year contributes to the family's strategic venison reserves using her crossbow. Her work takes her around the country to visit rural towns to help them improve their water infrastructure. On these trips, she has learned the finer points of country music and southern comfort food. She has a radiant smile, a loud laugh, great story-telling abilities, and is an overall fantastic and loving mother. - Aaron

Mike Harp

Father of the Bride

This is my Daddy. I still call him that; I couldn't possibly call him anything else! He's the man behind it all. He has given me so many things to be grateful for; I couldn't possibly list them all in the character limit I have! He's simultaneously one of the biggest goofballs and one of the most morally sound people you'll ever meet. He taught me that I could be the strong, independent person I strive to be. I wouldn't trade anything in the world for having him walk me down the aisle on the big day. (Please be sure to introduce yourself to him as well and thank him for providing this beautiful celebration for us all!) -Taylor

Todd McCusker

Father of the Groom

My dad, who allegedly looks similar to the groom, is an engineering nerd to the core. He and I work in the same building at Lockheed Martin, and we frequently clear entire rooms of people by discussing the finer points of aerospace engineering. His hobbies include cycling, running, swimming, triathlon-ing, cross country skiing, and waking up absurdly early on vacations to get outdoors. Born in New Jersey, raised in Alabama, and educated in Texas, he's a man of culture and sophistication. He has high expectations for barbecue and college football, and he insists on pouring Bailey's directly on his ice cream. He taught me how to think like an engineer and ride bikes like I'm in the Tour de France, and he is overall a fantastic father. - Aaron

Brendan Harp

BROTHER OF BRIDE, GROOMSMAN

"Bubba" and "Dude" are the names I use most often for him. We grew up playing bionicles and having light sabre fights in the living room, but now we bond over science memes and dad jokes (so yes, we're both giant nerds). Brendan is now "Professor Harp" in the Chemistry Department at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He lives with his girlfriend in Waco and is a proud dog-father! I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful sibling who has taught me more about life that I think he realizes. I'm very proud of him and so happy to have him at the altar with Aaron and I on our big day. -Taylor

Zach McCusker

BROTHER OF GROOM, BEST MAN

Zach is my younger, taller, and better looking brother. He loves every sport under the sun, and if wasn't weighed down by his studies at CU Boulder, he could probably make a living betting on sports in Las Vegas. Zach is a quiet guy at first, but has the unique ability to make an entire room crack up in laughter with a quick interjection into any conversation. Zach and I spent our childhoods watching sports and playing video games together, and we still do that to this day. He and I have rushed the football field and basketball court at CU together countless times, and we stay up into the early morning talking more often than we probably should. I'm extremely lucky to have Zach as my only brother. - Aaron

Alice Liu

Maid of Honor

My best friend forever and always! Alice and I met in the 3rd grade and haven't stopped laughing since. College was the first time we weren't in school together! We enjoyed a few years together in Colorado after college, but Alice is now a PhD candidate in St. Louis, studying Biomedical Engineering (what a smarty pants). Alice and I use the word "twins" to describe our relationship because no other word feels adequate. I have so many important memories that wouldn't have been possible without her; she's played a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today. Alice is my "rock" and I could never imagine getting married without her smiling face by my side. -Taylor

Zach Maas

Groomsman

Zach and I became friends in high school and spent multiple nights a week for our junior and senior years hanging out and causing trouble. We both love sports and could talk about them for far longer than most people would care to listen. He and I do lots of different things together including skiing, brewery hopping, and golfing. We play on the same soccer team right now, and are both trying to improve upon our pond hockey skills. I've known Zach for as long as almost anyone else in my life, and he's always been a great friend. - Aaron

Kailey Stiles

Bridesmaid

"Double Trouble" is what some professors call us as we pass them in the hallway. Kailey and I met during orientation for medical school and have been absolutely inseparable. People joke about "Taylor without Kailey?!", because you just don't see it very often during the chaos of medical school. We volunteer and do research together, are medical simulation and ultrasound scholars, and are both leaders of clubs on campus (one of which we founded!). Between classes and study hours, we blow off steam at Parker Rec Center, watch the Bachelor, and support each other and the crazy-big dreams we both have for our futures (she's an aspiring Pediatrician, by the way!)! I couldn't imagine saying "I do" without Kailey by my side, just as I couldn't imagine medical school without her. -Taylor

Adam Foster

Groomsman

Adam and I were roommates in college and have continued to be close friends since then. When living together, we watched an absurd amount of sports, attended almost every CU football and basketball game, and tried to break the world bench press record. We love to trash talk each other, but we also have deep conversations about life and the world. Adam and I stay in touch by going to dinners, attending CU football and Avalanche games, and playing video games into the early hours of the morning. Adam will be easily recognized at the wedding because he towers over everyone else, and before you ask, he's 6' 9". Adam is extraordinarily polite to strangers and brilliantly crude with his best friends, and that makes him a great person to be around. - Aaron

Gigi Gastevich

Bridesmaid

Gigi and I joke that we were each other's lifelines during our time at USC. Gigi is so wholesome and loving; something I desperately needed in LA. We were only roommates for one semester, but that experience left a lasting impression on us both! Gigi has enriched my life with many long talks and big hugs. She constantly inspires me to follow my dreams and be true to myself. We may have different hobbies, but I like to think that we're made of the same "stuff". She's an incredibly talented artist and is now living in Wisconsin in her own art studio (but this Fall, she'll be attending the Art Institute of Chicago to earn a Master's degree in Fine Arts!) I'm extremely grateful to have her be a part of such a big moment in my life. -Taylor

Dustin Fishelman

Groomsman

Dustin and I were in aerospace engineering together at CU Boulder. We studied together, completed projects together, and have had a couple of beers together. Dustin and I now work at the same company and talk almost every day about sports and happenings in the world. We're both passionate football and hockey fans, and and constantly predicting feast and famine for our beloved Buffs, Broncos, and Avs. We also work out together most weeks, and I get plenty of extra lifts in by taking the weights off the bar after his sets so that I can do mine. We enjoy golfing, getting sushi, and attending Avalanche games together, and I'm very lucky that he chose to sit next to me on that first day of Structures class at CU.

Kate Lowrey

Bridesmaid

Kate and I grew up racing each other as part of the USA Triathlon Youth Elite circuit. Even though we were competitors living in separate states (Kate lived in Minnesota), we became good friends and spent many weekends together at races around the US. We've always supported each other on and off of the race course. I like to brag that my family hosted her at altitude the week before she came in 1st place at the National Championships! We reconnected when she came to CU Anschutz for Pharmacy school in 2018. Hanging out looks a little different now; we'll go on hikes with her dog "Bear" and talk about pharmacy! (Wow, we're nerds). She'll be moving to Delaware for her pharmacy residency this Summer! I'll miss her, but I'm so grateful that she's able to be with me on my wedding day. -Taylor

Taylor "Maylor" Kheun

Groomsman

Many jokes were made that Maylor should have a half-suit, half-dress outfit for the wedding so he could stand on either side of the altar. Unfortunately, I had to give him up to the grooms-side! Maylor and I became inseparable after I transferred to CU. In our Anatomy Lab course with only 8 people, there were 2 Taylors! To keep us differentiated, we dubbed the name "Maylor", a combination of "Male" and "Taylor". After that, we always got together to run, study, or kick some butt in broomball! -Taylor Maylor can always be counted on for an obscure reference and an awkward goodbye. He spends his time thinking of new ways to eat raw sweet potatoes and by improving his ankle mobility. He loves miserable hikes, 80s music, and Norm McDonald videos. He's a great friend and a weird dude. -Aaron

Jordy Grewal

Bridesmaid

One of the best study buddies I've ever had! Jordy and I met in Biochemistry class at CU after I transferred from USC. From the first week, we were inseparable and unstoppable! She's at Creighton in Nebraska now, but we still have study dates over Facetime. Aside from school, we bond over running and our love for the outdoors. We're constantly updating each other about life and school, so I never feel like she's too far away. I'm so grateful for her enthusiasm and support; my wedding just wouldn't be the same without her energy! -Taylor

Dylan Smith

Bridesmaid

I love telling people the story about how Dyl and I met, because it sets the stage for the rest of our friendship. Dylan and I met on my first day at CU: I saw her sitting in Statistics class, sat next to her, and offered her a granola bar...we've been friends ever since! Whether we're having girls night at a wine bar or cooking a lavish meal for double date night, food was how we met and food is something we continue to bond over! We share many other loves (such as travel and skiing) but at the end of the day, it's just an overall love for life that brings us together. I'm so grateful for her zeal and confidence and I know that her love and support will make my wedding day that much more magical. -Taylor

"Uncle" Todd Beauford

Officiant

"Uncle" Todd was one of the first real mentors I've had. I first met him when I was thirteen when my mom and I stopped into his triathlon store. He took me under his wing and taught me not only the secrets of the sport, but the secrets to living a truly meaningful life. We've gone on many long bike rides, which played much larger roles in my life than just training for races. There have been many times I've felt uncertain of myself or my path and he's always helped me find certainty again. No matter what, he's always a voice of reason; he helps me feel empowered to be myself and to hold my values close. I call him "Uncle" Todd because he truly is like family to me; there's nobody else on Earth I'd rather have Officiate Aaron and I's lifelong commitment to each other. -Taylor

Taylor "JoJo" Beauford

Flower Girl

Jojo is Uncle Todd's daughter. She is a smart and busy toddler who loves dancing, animals, reading and helping with her baby sister, Kodi.

Sophie McCusker

Flower Girl

Sophie is an energetic child who loves all things princess and unicorn. Baking with mom and going to the park with dad are her favorite activities. She is the daughter of Scott and Kathleen McCusker, Aunt and Uncle to the Groom.
