Charlottesville is known for having a great food scene. The following are just a small number of our favorites: The Local (see everyone there on Friday!) Public Fish and Oyster Orzo Kitchen and Wine Bar Oakhart Social Hamilton's at First and Main Tavola C&O Restaurant Citizen Burger Bar Bodo's Bagels (a Charlottesville staple, great for breakfast or lunch) Christian's Pizza (a go-to late night spot) The Whiskey Jar (have a good drink on the Downtown Mall) The Virginian (great food, and if you stay there long enough you can mingle with the college crowd)
