Things To Do

The Oregon District

East 5th Street, Dayton, OH 45402

If you want to get a feel for Dayton, this is the place to go. This historic part of Dayton has some amazing food, bars, and plenty of shops to keep you entertained for hours.

Black Rock Bar & Grill

2745 Fairfield Commons, Beavercreek, OH 45431

This is Jordan and Taylor’s absolute favorite restaurant and date spot. The steak is to die for. The atmosphere is welcoming and the drinks aren’t bad either.

Fairfield Commons

Fairfield Commons, Beavercreek, OH 45431

It’s the local shopping mall. Lots of stores, food, and there’s also an arcade/bowling alley called Round1. It’s a very fun

Air Force Museum

1100 Spaatz Street, Dayton, OH 45431

If you are a history buff, this is the place to go. There are lots of old planes and equipment that were used in WW1, WW2, The Cold War, The Korean War, and The Vietnam War. There’s also a really cool space exhibit and a presidential gallery with walk throughs of past presidential private jets. I would highly recommend if you’ve never been.

Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

2600 Deweese Parkway, Dayton, OH 45414

This is a wonderful place for your littles. Lots of interactive exhibits including a space exhibit, a small zoo, a big indoor playground, and gift shop. They often have small classes and workshops you can enroll children of all ages in.

Fraze Pavilion

695 Lincoln Park Boulevard, Kettering, OH 45429

This is the heart of Kettering. Throughout spring, summer and fall, lots of really cool events are held here. A lot of concerts, food truck events, and other fun events. It also has a beautiful fountain to walk around when there aren’t any events going on.

Delco Park

1700 Delco Park Drive, Dayton, OH 45420

This is a place we frequent in the summer time. It’s a huge park, with a walking path, a duck pond, a beautiful gazebo, a playground, picnic areas, volleyball courts, and BMX track.

The Greene

4452 Buckeye Lane, Beavercreek, OH 45440

It’s an outdoor shopping mall with lots of delicious restaurants, a variety of stores, and comedy club.

Jimmy's Italian Kitchen

3002 Woodman Drive, Kettering, OH 45420

It’s a frequent date spot for us. It’s a delicious little Italian restaurant. They have the best Chicken Alfredo I’ve ever tasted.

Los Reyes Mexican Restaurant

2290 East Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH 45420

This is another date spot of ours. A family owned Mexican restaurant. Lovely staff and amazing food. I highly recommend the enchiladas.

Cox Arboretum MetroPark

6733 North Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449

This is beautiful place to walk. They’ve got a few different hikes you can do. There’s a large pond with a bridge across it which is cool. My favorite thing to do is sit on the porch swing and watch the pond.
