The ceremony will start at 4PM so I recommend arriving at around 3:30PM to sort out parking and finding a seat before I walk down the aisle.
Yes. We’ve hired two bartenders who will serve our signature cocktails, wine, and beer at no cost to you.
If you’d like to volunteer to help set up the ceremony and reception hall, that would be great, but we don’t expect it from anyone.
Absolutely. You can RSVP on our website or you may email the account we’ve set up specifically for wedding RSVP’s. The email is taylorandjordanswedding2023@gmail.com
We will need to get your RSVP by July 1st, 2023 in order to let our caterers know how much food we will need.
Yes! The farmhouse has a lift to get inside and the barn for the reception has a ramp.
Yes. There is the main parking lot that holds over 20 cars, but for more there is a second parking lot that will hold the rest. There will definitely be enough parking.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors if the weather doesn’t get bad, but they do have other options in case the weather isn’t cooperative. The reception will be indoors though.
Different shades of purple such as eggplant, plum, lavender and as a secondary color we have sage green.
It’s preferred, but not necessary unless you’re part of the wedding party.
It’s hard to say because this is ohio and the weather can be all over the place here, but it shouldn’t be too cold. I’d say it’ll be in the 50s-60s temperature wise. It could be even warmer. It all just depends. I will update this as we get closer to the wedding and I’m able to look at weather forecasts.
I don’t mind if you bring a plus one for the most part. I’ve accounted for most of our single friends and family to have a plus one because it’s months away and things can change. Just talk to me around the time you RSVP and let me know you’ll be bringing a plus one so I can have them accounted for.
We don’t mind if you bring older children who are able to sit quietly just make sure I know around the time of your RSVP. I think we will have a baby and toddler free wedding as they can be quite distracting. The only toddler that should be there will be our daughter Maeve, as she is in the wedding party.
We will be having a starter salad, meat entree accompanied by a vegetable side and a starch side along with rolls. There will be assorted appetizers as well.
Unfortunately no. Doing that is a bit out of our price range. If you’d still like to attend that’s completely fine, just let me know if you’d like to bring your own food if you have dietary restrictions. I will make sure not to get food for you if you request that. We will have a refrigerator and a food warmer.
If you get it off our registry it will automatically send it to our home, but if you’d like to wrap it and bring it to the wedding, we will have a place set up for gifts and cards.
If you’ve volunteered to help set up, wedding setup will be from 9AM-11AM. After set up is done we all leave. At 2PM the wedding party will go back to Polen Farm and start getting ready together. Guests should arrive at around 3:30PM. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4PM. We will have an hour and a half between the ceremony and reception where we will socialize, eat appetizers, play cornhole, etc. Reception will begin at 6PM and go on until 10PM. You don’t have to stay the entire time but if you RSVP, we encourage you to at least stay until the meal at 7PM so your food doesn’t get wasted.
The reception will end at 10PM. We will be having an after party for our friends and anyone who would like to come. I haven’t fully set up the details on that yet, but I will update it when I know more.
We do plan on throwing a bridal shower, bachelorette and bachelor parties, and a rehearsal dinner, but it won’t be during the wedding weekend. The only thing on the wedding weekend will be the wedding ceremony, reception, and after party.
During the ceremony, no. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer and I trust they will take plenty of beautiful pictures of everything and record all our favorite moments. We will have a phone free wedding ceremony. We encourage guests to silence their phones and put them away for the 30 minutes of the wedding ceremony. After that? Take as many pictures as you want and be on your phone as much as you want during the social hour, and at the reception
Yes! You can post as many pictures as you’d like. If you’d like to post the professional pictures or the official video, just contact me and I will make sure to send them to you.
