We chose to get married at the Hotel Californian because we loved how everyone would be able to stay downtown and enjoy each other all weekend. We would LOVE for our guests to try and stay on property if it works for you, but also understand if that does not work within your budget. Flight

Santa Barbara Airport - Alaska Airlines

The Santa Barbara airport is located about 15 minutes from Downtown Santa Barbara. There is one direct flight in and out each day on Alaska Airlines. It arrives at 12:30pm and takes off about 2pm daily (times vary depending on time of year). Additional flights are available on other airlines, but will not be direct. Another option would be to fly into LAX or Burbank Airports and rent a car. It is roughly and hour and a half drive without traffic. We suggest most guests arrive on Thursday or Friday if you plan on attending the Welcome Dinner.
