What do I need to pack?

Answer

Casual attire is fine for majority of the weekend. The Wedding Celebrations Saturday night will be Semi-Formal. Make sure to bring a bathing suit as there are many opportunities to swim!

What does "semi-formal" mean?

Answer

For the ladies: A cocktail dress....aka...something that feels festive and fancy and worthy around a great drink...or two. For the men: A button down shirt, slacks and tie, jacket optional. "Never remove your tie, a tie gives the illusion of sobriety."

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will clearly state the names of those invited. If you only see your name, then we would prefer if it was just you.

Are there other wedding events I’m invited to?

Answer

Everyone is invited to join us at the Bonfire Friday night, the Ceremony, Cocktail hour, Reception and After Party. Details can be found under the Schedule.

What color dress are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The girls will each be wearing a different shade of blue/gray.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony will be outside by the lake on the Interlaken Inn property. The cocktail hour to follow will be outside next to the reception tent. The reception will be partially under a tent and partially indoors.

Where will I be eating?

Answer

You will be served appetizers and dinner at the Cocktail Hour and Reception. All other meals are on your own and can be had at the restaurant at the Inn or various other local restaurants. A list of local restaurants can be found under the Things To Do section of this website.
