Drinking beer, eating pig, and rolling around in the mud with 1,000 people you never met... When Drew invited Bryan to Elon's Festivus to celebrate his birthday, and final law school exam, Bryan never thought he would meet someone who would change his life forever. When Taylor got stranded at her sorority sister's apartment that same night, a chance encounter sealed their fates. Only days after meeting, Taylor was headed home to Connecticut for the summer. After a few weeks of talking on a daily basis, Bryan decided to make the trip up North, on his Motorcycle, to see Taylor again. They spent the weekend swimming in the ocean, watching fireworks and spending time with Taylor's family. After Bryan left, Taylor got a call from her grandfather Ragu who confidently asked, "Do you hear wedding bells?"... because after meeting Bryan that one time, he was convinced Bryan and Taylor would marry. Once Taylor returned to school in NC they made their relationship official and the adventures continued from there. Three years at Bonnaroo, multiple motorcycle trips, visits with family throughout the country, and ultimately moving to their new home in Seattle where they take full advantage of the city, mountains and sea.
On June 28, 2017, Taylor woke up with a splitting headache. Knowing they were supposed to go on a hike that day, Taylor was bummed. Bryan, being the caring man that he is, brought her Advil and a cup of tea, all the while FREAKING OUT fully knowing the surprise awaiting Taylor at the end of their hike. Taylor was convinced to join the group after a yummy brunch and some effective convincing by Bryan and good friend Mitch, that the hike would be an easy one. Joined by Mitch's girlfriend Al, the four friends started up the snow covered trail and the girls quickly realized the hike was not as easy as the boys had promised. Eventually, they made it up to the base of Pinnacle Glacier where they were rewarded with spectacular views of the southern side of Mt.Rainier. In typical form. Mitch broke out his camera to take photos while Bryan prepared himself to ask the question of a lifetime. Once Mitch had the shot framed, Bryan got down on one knee and asked Taylor to marry him. After a few breath-catching, speechless moments, Taylor said "Yes!". A few moments later, Al brought out the bottle of champagne she had secretly carried up the mountain and the four friends toasted the remarkable view and the lifetime of adventures to come.
