How do I get to the venue

Answer

Directions to the venue can be found in the location section of our wedding website. Please ensure you select the Hastings address as there are two Carpenter Nature Center Locations in your chosen navigation app if you are not entering the address manually.

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

Since most of our guests are local, we are not holding a hotel block. For out-of-towners or anyone wanting to turn the night into a staycation, we recommend the following hotels: The Confluence in Hastings or Country Inn and Suites in Woodbury/Cottage Grove.

Can I bring a date?

Thank you for understanding that our celebration is strictly RSVP-only. We are only able to accommodate the exact names listed on your invitation envelope.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

No need! To ensure our immediate family can celebrate safely, our entire menu is already prepared or has alternative for dairy-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and halal. Every dish will be clearly labeled, so you can dine with peace of mind.

Is there a dress code?

Please join us in cocktail attire. Because our wedding takes place completely outdoors, we recommend checking the forecast ahead of time. Note that while our venue features beautifully paved trails, you may want to opt for block heels or flats to comfortably walk on the lawn.

Will there be a lot of walking involved?

Answer

Not to worry! The venue is very accessible with fully paved trails throughout. For anyone who needs a lift or is unable to walk long distances, we've rented a golf cart to help transport you around the property.
