Hiking clothes and shoes

We would love to invite you all to come see the park with us the day before the wedding so we can explore and hike and experience the park together before our big day! We plan to meet at the Foothills Visitor Center right inside the entrance to the park. There is a $30 park entrance fee per car so we suggest car pooling! Your entry pass is good for 2 days so you wont have to pay to enter the park again the following day for the ceremony. The drive up into the park is BEAUTIFUL and there are lots of stops along the way. We plan to stop as we go to sightsee and do short hikes. We suggest bringing water bottles and snacks for your park visit. Even if you are unable or don't want to hike, we still urge you to come along for the ride as the views are beautiful even from the road.

Wedding Ceremony

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

MEETING AT THE FOOTHILLS VISITOR CENTER TO CARAVAN TO LOCATION AT 1:10 PM. IF YOU WISH TO CARAVAN, PLEASE BE ON TIME. WE WILL NOT WAIT. There is a $30 park entrance fee per car, if you purchased one the previous day, that one will still work. We recommend carpooling if possible. The ceremony location is a short, less than 1/4 mile hike into The Crescent Meadow Loop Trail from The Crescent Meadow Loop Trail Parking Lot. As you make your way to the ceremony site, you will be surrounded by beautiful Giant Sequoias and lush meadow views. The trail is unpaved and the ceremony site is outdoors so please dress accordingly. Please wear comfortable shoes (close-toed shoes recommended) and dress to your comfort level. Chairs are not provided at the ceremony site. Please be prepared to stand for the duration of the short ceremony. Following the ceremony, the Bride and Groom will be taking photos at their chosen park locations.
