Travel Note
The wedding is Saturday, October 24, but the weekend is the wedding. Come Thursday if you can — it gives you a day to ease into San Miguel before things start. Friday-morning arrivals work, they just give you less. Friday's rehearsal dinner is the main event of the pre-wedding weekend, and it's for everyone — not just the wedding party. Plan to be there. The weekend ends Sunday. There's no formal brunch, but you should plan to be in town through Sunday morning. We'll be around.
Hotel
This is where the wedding happens and where we'll be staying. A collection of restored 16th-century colonial homes in the historic center, a few blocks from the Parroquia. We've blocked a small number of rooms here. To book within the block, email groups.csn@belmond.com or call +52 332 101 3865 and mention the Hill–McManus wedding. The block closes September 22, 2026!

Travel Note
San Miguel's historic center is small and walkable. It is also almost entirely cobblestone. Bring shoes you can actually walk on cobblestones in. This is not a suggestion — it's a public health notice. Uber operates in town and works well. Taxis are easy to flag down. You won't need a rental car. You probably shouldn't have one — parking is a nightmare and the town is more rewarding on foot.
Hotel
5 acres of landscaped gardens, three pools, and four restaurants including the Luna Rooftop bar, all directly across Juárez Park from the Belmond. Voted #1 city hotel in Mexico by Travel + Leisure in 2025.
Travel Note
We're working on shared transportation options from QRO and BJX to San Miguel for the weekend — details closer to the date. In the meantime, private cars and shared shuttles are easy to book independently. Ask us if you want a recommendation.
Flight
Querétaro Airport (QRO) is about an hour's drive to San Miguel. The smallest and easiest of the three airports. Direct flights from Houston, Dallas, and a handful of US hubs. From most other cities, you'll connect through Mexico City. This is the airport we're flying into and the one we'd send our families to.
Flight
About 90 minutes to San Miguel. Good option if QRO doesn't have a convenient route from your city. Direct flights from Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and others.
Flight
About 3.5 hours by car. The most flight options, but the longest ground transfer. Worth it only if you're spending a few days in Mexico City before or after.
