Thank you in advance for being able to join us for a weekend full of love, color, and celebration as we honor traditions from both Bengali and Dominican cultures. Please make sure the outfits are modest for religious and cultural respect.
The Gaye Holud, is a joyful turmeric ceremony filled with blessings, vibrant rituals, and lots of laughter. For this event, we invite you to wear semi-casual Bengali attire in cheerful hues of pink, orange, yellow, or green.
Finally, we’ll close the festivities with a grand Reception, blending cultures with delicious food, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. Formal or festive evening wear—whether traditional, Western, or cultural—is perfect for the night.

A joyful Bengali tradition, the Gaye Holud (or turmeric ceremony) is all about love, laughter, and a golden glow! Family and friends gather to apply turmeric paste to the couple as a blessing for prosperity, beauty, and a radiant start to married life. Expect lively music, colorful decor, and a fusion of Bengali and Dominican joy!
