Tatyana & Joseph met in medical school in Houston. For their first date they went skeet shooting followed by dinner at a Plucker's, a hot wings bar. From that day on they were inseparable. After medical school Tatyana and Joseph both matched into training programs in New York City. That match day was one of the greatest days of their lives. Tatyana graduated from New York Medical College Ophthalmology residency and is now at UPMC in Pittsburgh specializing in retina surgery. Joseph is finishing his final year of General Surgery residency at Mt. Sinai before they both move to Los Angeles where he will continue his training in Cardiac surgery at University of Sothern California and Tatyana will start her career as an attending retina surgeon.

While living in New York, Tatyana & Joseph took a vacation to visit their family in Destin, Florida. Joseph proposed on a beautiful empty beach at sunset, and then they celebrated with their family afterwards.
