Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to our budget and space limitations, we are unable to accommodate all of our lovely guests bringing a guest of their own. We are asking our guests to please not bring an additional guest, unless they are specifically named on the RSVP list. All guests will need to check in with the hostesses upon arrival, as this event is private and invite only.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online. Utilize the "RSVP" tab in the header or menu of our wedding website. Simply enter your first and last name and confirm your arrival for our Big Day! You'll also be able to choose your meal preference during this process.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Thursday, February 15, 2024. No exceptions will be made.

How do I change my RSVP selection?

Answer

You can update your RSVP by entering your first and last name on the "RSVP" page, select your name, and then choose, "edit RSVP." If you are no longer available to attend, please know we are still extremely grateful you wanted to be there and we still love you!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding will begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself enough time to park, check in, socialize, and be seated.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Black and Gold! PS: We are still a house divided... the Bride is 100% a COWBOYS fan and the Groom is 100% a SAINTS fan. There's has been no such compromise on the Bride's behalf! You're welcome to wear the color of your choice, with the exception of white or any color in the white/cream family please.

What's the wedding attire?

Answer

Semi-Formal, BUT don't forget to bring your dancing shoes, because we will be on the dance floor!!

Can you provide a link to your wedding registry? Also, where should I send my gift?

Answer

First and foremost, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you may access our registry, by utilizing our wedding website and simply clicking on, "registry." A list of items, as well as their prices can be purchased directly from our wedding website. In addition, you have the option to have your gift sent directly to our home.

How do I locate your wedding venue?

Answer

Our venue is Unique Visions Upscale Events: 324 S. Hampton Rd, DeSoto, Texas 75115. The venue is located directly across from the post office and is an all-white building. You may also utilize the Map on our wedding website under "Schedule."

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We welcome you to park on the lot of the venue, in the back.

What should I do when I arrive?

Answer

1. After parking, you'll enter through the patio, located at the back of the building. The lights will guide you as well as assistants and signs. 2. Next, you'll check in at the hostess station and receive further directions following.

Is the wedding & reception located at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both events are located at the same venue and will last from 7:30 pm - 12:30 am.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be indoors, however our lovely guests will have access to the patio for cocktail hour.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, fish, and salad.

Are there assigned seating arrangements?

Answer

Our guests are able to sit anywhere except the "reserved" tables.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Our signature drinks will be available for everyone to enjoy responsibly.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We just ask that you do not block or hinder our wedding photographers and videographers.

Can I post your wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! We just ask that you add our wedding hashtag: #movingFORDward
