Hersey: When I first saw her with my eyes, it was at a hole in the wall. I noticed her when I came inside the club; it was like everything was moving slow and the club light was on her... all I could say was, "wow, she is amazing!" For some reason, I felt like I had no chance to talk with her because so many people was trying. As I was heading to the bar for a drink, I guess she was walking past me and we bumped into each other. I told her, "Sorry," and my name, and she smiled back and told me hers. We were talking the whole night away, about everything, but the number one question was, "Do I know who God is and do I believe in Him?" I knew for myself she was the woman for me because I'd asked God for a woman that loved God. And from there, she showed me other stuff down the line that I'd also asked God for in a woman. She showed me love, growth, support, being a team, and she never judged me. I'm blessed to have her as my best friend and the one I'm going to give my last name to. Tatyana: Three times during the week of meeting Hersey at the hole in the wall, I'd written in my prayer journal, "God I feel like I'm meeting my husband this weekend or real soon!" Jazz and Old Skool R&B was being played by the band and people were on the dance floor. I turned around to find a bearded man in an olive-green hat studying me, but in the most respectful way! I began walking in his direction, like I was going towards the restroom and ironically, he started walking towards the bar, at the perfect time, to create the most planned accidental bump ever! We talked about everything for hours, from Jesus, Church, to other interests, and he even danced with me. In speaking to him, I instantly felt safe and secure, even though I didn't feel unsafe prior to... He was just that special and God is just that Amazing! At one point in the night, we journeyed out to the patio, where it was extremely crowded; we had a tough time walking through separately, but the moment he grabbed my hand and led the way, people literally were staring and moving, so that we could walk through. Definitely something you would see in a movie, and I learned immediately how much of a force we are together! We talked until about 4 am, he told me, "Beauty - by Dru Hill," is what he thinks of when he looks at me, and he'd already checked off 90% of the things I'd asked God for, when praying over my future husband...
