It was a snowy Friday night in May when Beth grabbed a couple beers with her friend Steph at their neighborhood brewery at the time, Goldspot. They chatted about another neighborhood brewery that was due to open in a couple months, Call to Arms. As they finished their beers, they went to go settle the bill at the bar where they were introduced to Chris Bell and Jesse Brookstein and decided to get another beer with the boys. Beth, being the old lady she is, was ready for bed and was less than enthused to stay. After Chris made fun of Beth for the better part of an hour, they finished their beers and went their separate ways. Chris had been working nonstop from then until July when it was time for the Call to Arms soft opening. Beth came with some friends and chatted with Chris a bit, but again nothing happened. The next night was the Grand Opening and Beth again came with some friends. As the night progressed and it was time to go home, Beth had some additional liquid courage and handed Chris her phone to get his number. They went on their first date that Sunday and then rest is history. They got engaged on November 24, 2017 in beautiful Newport, RI. After starting the wedding planning process and getting too stressed about said process, they decided to tie the knot on February 3, 2018 with their parents and siblings as their witness.
