Paul and Tatjiana grew up 10 minutes down the road from each other and even went to the same high school, but they never got to know each other until years later when they both connected over being in healthcare programs at Temple University. Paul was getting his doctorate in Pharmacy and Tatjiana was in nursing school when they had their first real conversation about an anatomy class they had both taken. While training at the hospital they would occasionally see each other in the cafeteria and quickly wave hello. In December of 2017, Paul asked Tatjiana on their first date and they formed a strong connection over their many similarities and shared interests. A couple weeks later Paul asked Tatjiana to be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. They had not only both found an amazing partner but a new best friend. They enjoyed doing everything together: sharing rides to school, going to the gym, cooking, studying, and spending time with each other’s friends and families. And as time went on they both developed new shared passions for traveling, hiking, music, and always pushing themselves towards new experiences. In 2021 they moved from Philadelphia down to Florida for Paul’s residency program and about a year later, on a two week long road trip from Wyoming to Canada, Paul got down on one knee and asked Tatjiana to keep adventuring together for the rest of their lives - and of course she said yes !
