Our wedding is formal attire. We hope you'll see this as an opportunity to dress up and dance around! Please no jeans or casual attire. Also, keep in mind that June in Vermont can be warm during the day, but become slightly breezy in the evening so dress according to your comfort level. If you have questions about what to wear, feel free to reach out!
Weather permitting, we will have our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors with dinner and dancing located inside the round barn. Our venue also has a firepit located to the left of the pavilion where we hope our guests will join us for some campfire songs. In the event there is rain on our wedding day (cue Alanis Morrisette), we will have our ceremony under the covered pavilion with dinner and dancing inside the barn.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 so we ask that guests arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of time to ensure you don’t miss anything and allow us to stay on time.
We will provide roundtrip shuttle bus transportation to Sleepy Hollow. The shuttle will depart from the Double Tree located at 870 Williston Rd, South Burlington, VT. If you'd prefer to drive, there is no-cost parking available at the venue. However, please note there are unpaved, winding roads leading up to the woodland venue. We hope you'll make the most comfortable and safe choice for yourself and others!
We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony and ask that everyone refrain from taking photos at this time. We have hired Isora Lithgow as our photographer, and she is phenomenal. We trust her to capture the authenticity of our ceremony and ask that you trust her to do so too. Any other time, feel free to take photos and videos and please share the memories with us!
Our meals will be made fresh onsite with 40 flat top grills present for guests to watch as the Hindquarter works their magic. Our dinner buffet will include: Chicken Under a Brick Cannellini beans, kale, spring onions, chicken jus Asparagus Salad Radishes, peas, mint, basil, pickled chili Smashed Potatoes Horseradish, dill Fresh Pasta Caponata Eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, pinenuts, Reggiano
