Tatiana and Montana met in September 2020, right at the tail end of the pandemic, after matching on the League - thanks to a recommendation from Tatiana's wonderful maid of honor (Katherine) to try a new dating app. They met in person (masks and all) at a Yardhouse, what started as a simple date flew by and turned into something much bigger. On October 18, 2020, Montana asked Tatiana to be his girlfriend and they've been together ever since. Three years ago they moved to Salt Lake City, where they're now building a life filled with adventure, love and plenty of time outdoors. From hiking and backpacking to learning to ski after moving to Utah, the two quickly discovered a shared love for pushing themselves and exploring the world side by side. Highlights include climbing Mount Whitney (the tallest mountain in the contiguous U.S.) in 2021 and completing two triathlons together - proof that they're happiest when they're outside and moving. Montana proposed at Deer Creek Reservoir along with their dog Max. What started out as a simple drive for "lunch" turned into the most magical moment. After a brief walk to the edge of the reservoir, with Mount Timpanogos in the background the scene was set. When Montana started getting nervous and telling her how much he loved her, she knew exactly what was happening and even though she knew the question was coming instead of saying "yes", Tatiana said "I do" - which pretty sums up how ready she was to marry him. Now with Max by their side and the mountains as their backdrop, Tatiana and Montana are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of life with the people they love most.
