Things To Do

We’re excited to share some of the spots from our February 2024 trip to Guatemala that left a lasting impression on us. These became a few of our absolute favorites, and we can’t wait for you to see them too!
La Tasca Antigua

La Tasca Antigua

15 7a Calle Poniente, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

Seriously, if you're into fresh seafood, this place is a no-brainer. Totally worth checking out.

La Casa de las Sopas

La Casa de las Sopas

5 7a Avenida Norte, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

If you're craving something super authentic, this is the spot. Try the Pepian—it’s my favorite. Tatiana loved the Hilachas—either way, you can’t go wrong!

McDonald's

McDonald's

Poniente 4A 21, Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala, Antigua, Guatemala, Guatemala, Guatemala

I know it sounds funny, but you HAVE to try the Pastel de Elote and the Guatemalan Coffee Special. It’s perfect for chilling out on their beautiful patio!

Ulew Cocktail Bar

Ulew Cocktail Bar

3 Poniente, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

You HAVE to go to this place—it’s so cool. You literally enter through a phone booth! The vibe is super unique. They don’t have a regular cocktail menu, but the bartenders know their stuff. They can mix up anything from classic cocktails to something totally original. And the drinks? They come in fun, quirky glasses and are made with fresh, local ingredients like squash seeds, lemon, rum... it’s a total ode to Guatemalan culture.

La Casa del Ron

La Casa del Ron

4a Calle Oriente, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

If you like to immerse yourself in local culture, this spot is perfect for trying the Guatemala Ron de Zacapa. It’s an authentic experience, and the Pepito Sour is a must!

Guru Walk Tours

Guru Walk Tours

Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez Department, Guatemala

These tours are free (gratuity is recommended), and the guides are super knowledgeable—they even speak multiple languages! It’s such a great way to explore the historical city, learn a lot, and get some epic pictures for the gram.

For all the days along the way
