September is the rainy season in Antigua. Mornings are usually clear and sunny, but expect mild rain in the afternoon or evening. Not even rain could scare us from getting married! So, pack an umbrella or a light jacket for cooler nights.
Our ceremony will begin promptly at XYZ. So we kindly request that you arrive 30 min prior to assure you don't miss anything. This will also give you time to park, take a guest picture and find your seat!
We’re thrilled to celebrate our wedding with you at Convento Capuchinas in Antigua, Guatemala! This beautiful convent, built in 1736, won us over with its stunning architecture and the incredible central fountain in the courtyard. Surrounded by arches and lush greenery, the fountain creates a peaceful, romantic setting that we instantly fell in love with. The convent also has the unique “Tower of Retreats,” a circular building with cozy rooms once used for quiet reflection. We can’t wait to share this magical place with all of you!
The ceremony will take place in the templo of the convent, a stunning space with open skies above—perfect for a romantic, airy vibe! Afterward, we’ll move to the garden on the convent grounds for cocktail hour, so comfy shoes are a good idea. The reception will then take place in the beautiful courtyard, where we’ll be surrounded by candlelight and the evening sky. Antigua’s nights can be a bit cool, so you might want to bring a light jacket or sweater just in case. We can’t wait to celebrate with you under the stars!
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire...just don't wears jeans or a white dress
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception and adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
We kindly ask that you let us know if you can come by June 1st 2025. This allows us to let our vendors know a proper head count!
