First officially meeting and hanging out in 2018 while attending a get-together, laughs were shared when talking about Alex and Demetrius's friendship. As time together progressed, we began knowing more about each other and so many similarities shared. Since witnessing the marriage between her and Alex in 2018, our friendship has grown so greatly much.

Demetrius and Alex met during their Freshman year at WCU in 2009 and became fast friends. That friendship carried through college and into the realm of "adulthood" as many laughs, life lessons, and pieces of advice have been shared through the years.

Morgan

When first meeting at SCC in 2018, Tatiana and Morgan's friendship blossomed after reconnecting at Western Carolina University. In the last 2 years or so, Tatiana and Morgan have been there for each other through the highs and lows while creating so many fun-filled and laughable memories. Morgan was the first person Tatiana called about being engaged and the first to ask to be a bridesmaid. Can’t wait to share this special day with Morgan!

When meeting each other, Demetrius and Jason became friends rather quickly. During their first interaction over bowling, they became competitive with each other but also were helping each other and giving encouragement to one another. Since then, they have there for each other in many ways including giving advice and always being there for one another.

In 2018, Tatiana and Michelle first met at a get-together in the whee. After realizing having met each other before, a conversation sparked so fast it was clear the friendship was set in stone. So much laughter and great late-night conversations shared. Who would have thought a friendship from another would be so great? Michelle, without a doubt, would witness the next chapter is Tatiana and Demetrius’s life together.

Alec

Alec and Demetrius met each other through the Intramural Program at Western Carolina, playing on the same football and basketball teams together along with Brandon L. During these games, they formed a competitive bond with one another and also supported each other in or outside of sports. Alec and Demetrius have a bond that makes one another work harder when around each other, wanting to see the other do better.

Sandra

In 2019, Tatiana and Sandra met through mutual friends at Western Carolina University while enjoying a night in the whee. Sandra always makes anytime a great time from driving through the Blue Ridge Parkway to catching up after class with lunch and even exploring new things the whee has to offer. From that point on, it was not question of Sandra making her mark in Tatiana’s life.

Brandon L.

Brandon and Demetrius met each other through the Intramural Program at Western Carolina, playing on the same football and basketball teams together along with Alec. During these games, they formed a competitive bond with one another and also supported each other in or outside of sports. Brandon and Demetrius created a bond through trash-talking opponents and later realized that they had many things in common. The two always try to push each other to do great things,

Jakayla

Having first met at 9 years old, Cousin and friend of the bride-to-be, it was always clear Jakayla would be there for me when I married my man, Although we lived far apart as we were growing up in college and did not see each other much, Jakayla was always there in my heart. Without a doubt, I am beyond excited to spend time together after time apart.

Darmarius

Demetrius and Darmarius are cousins but many would consider the bond that they have to be more brotherly. They have grown up together and have always shared laughs, stories, and experiences together. When Demetrius introduced Tatiana to the family, Darmarius had a feeling that she wasn't going anywhere and was highly supportive of that. He has loved Tatiana like family ever since.

Also, having first met at 9 years old, Cousin and friend of the bride-to-be, Shatima was always thought of being there for my special day. Although we had time apart from one another, it didn’t break the friendship we had. I’m so happy to have Shatima by my side as I marry my man. Without a doubt, I am beyond excited to spend time together after so much time apart.

Terrence, the little brother of the groom has always wanted to be a part of whatever Demetrius was a part of. "Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero" so I'm glad to have my sidekick with me.

Angela, the little sister of the bride-to-be, since the young age of 8 always wanted to part of our special day when we first began dating. Without a doubt, I wanted to share this special day of many with my baby sister by myself.

Julian aka JuJu, the little brother of the bride-to-be, has always seen Demetrius as a big brother. We never questioned JuJu being part of our wedding day to bring his excitement and handsomeness down the aisle.
