Question

What are the COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

We ask that you get your COVID-19 vaccine prior to attending. If you are medically able to get the vaccine but choose not to do so, we ask that you not attend. The COVID-19 pandemic has destroyed families, careers, and lives. It is up to all of us to do our part to protect those around us, especially those unable to be vaccinated. We will not ask for any proof of your vaccination, we just hope you will respect us and our wishes. As the Delta variant continues to spread, we reiterate the importance of vaccination. We will have children and immunocompromised friends joining us, and we will not risk their health. Please do not attend if you have not gotten your COVID-19 vaccine. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors and if necessary, we will space seating. We currently believe masks will not be required as everyone in attendance will be vaccinated, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one please feel free!

Question

What can we do if we get there early?

Answer

TES has beautiful walking trails all around the property! Please feel free to take a walk before the ceremony and enjoy the gardens, open land, and lake trails.

Question

What's the phone etiquette?

Answer

The ceremony is entirely unplugged - no photography or videography from guests, please! During the reception please feel free to take photos and videos and use the hashtag #TateBrattonShindig so we can see them all! And please grab us for selfies.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception accessible?

Answer

We picked our venue with accessibility in mind. The ceremony site is directly across from the parking area and the short path into the woods is mulched. It is wheelchair accessible but we recommend having someone push the wheelchair on the mulch. The reception area is entirely wheelchair accessible, and the bathrooms are ADA compliant.
