We have a room block at Kilkea Castle, where all events will be held. Travel Note
We will be providing two different shuttles options for our guests on Sunday May 17th from Dublin to Kilkea Castle and one shuttle option the morning of Tuesday May 19th to return from Kilkea Castle to Dublin. The pick up and drop off point in Dublin will be at the Guinness Storehouse. If you wish to take any of the shuttles, please RSVP for all shuttle options you would like to take so that we can guarantee there’s enough space!
Travel Note
If you do not plan to take the provided shuttles, the quickest and most convenient way to get from Dublin Airport to Kilkea Castle is by car. The drive from the airport to Kilkea Castle ranges from ~60-90 minutes, depending on traffic. However, if you plan to rent a car, here are a few things to keep in mind: 1) In Ireland, they drive on the left side of the road 2) The driver’s side is on the right hand side of the car 3) Most rental cars have a manual transmission; make sure to double check the transmission you're booking! (Warning: if you're wanting to bust out your manual skills, you will be using your left hand to shift gears!) 4) Insurance is required - third party insurance is the minimum acceptable by law. Note: most credit card programs offering rental car insurance exclude Ireland from their coverage 5) Speed limits are posted in kilometers per hour 6) The legal blood alcohol limit is lower in Ireland (0.05) compared to the US (0.08) Please be safe on your way to celebrate with us!
