Bedford, New York

After a lot of deliberation....

We are still getting married, but our plans have changed.

Our dream was to have a wedding that we could all be together for but with the current pandemic, we were presented with limited options and a lot of uncertainty. The health and safety of our family and friends are of utmost importance to us all. Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel our Newport, RI wedding.

How We Met

"What is meant to be, will be"

It all began in 2014... Tate & her sister Kirsten (and 10-week old puppy, Sailor) were running their business, Personally Preppy, an equestrian monogramming company. It was an average weekend for Tate & Kir as they were setting up a pop-up shop at Fairfield Hunt Club, in Fairfield, CT. While at the horseshow, Tate took Sailor for a walk and happened to meet a lady selling CWD Saddles. With Sailor as the draw, they chatted for over two hours about everything from horses to bad dates. Mid-conversation, she looked at Tate and said: "I have the perfect guy for you... and he's coming here tomorrow to meet you..." As it turns out, she was Brad's roommate's best friend. And to Tate's surprise, Brad actually came to meet her at the horseshow! ["Little did he know, Tate saw him come into the Personally Preppy store just moments before to say hi to Sailor, and she immediately whispered to Kirsten about how cute he was!"] They went on three dates that very week, and the rest was history! ... Fast forward five fun, adventure-filled years later... We are getting ready to walk down the aisle together and can't wait to share that moment with you. We are celebrating our time spent together and the many shared memories to come. We feel so blessed to have met each other, and feel that our "meet-cute" story is a reflection of a favorite family saying "What is meant to be, will be".
