Things To Do

Tarynn and Noah are proud to call Charleston, WV home and we hope you make time to enjoy the restaurants, bars, and shops that the area has to offer. If you have more time to stay in the area, we recommend making the hour drive to Fayetteville, WV to visit the New River Gorge - designated a National Park in 2020. The views of the bridge are breathtaking, and you can also enjoy hiking, world-class white water rafting, and more outstanding restaurants.

Fife Street Brewing

180 Summers Street, Charleston, WV 25301

A lively brewery situated in the heart of downtown Charleston. Our favorite pours are the Charleston Beer and Charlie West Coast IPA.

Short Story Brewing

Right next door to Fife, Short Story serves great beer and even better pizza (seriously, there's a cult following for the pizza!)

Suzi's

If you would like a biscuit the size of your face but only the price of the change in your pocket, this is the place get it. Seriously worth grabbing a breakfast sandwich here on Saturday morning.

The best ice cream in town - an easy walk on Bridge Road after pizza at Lola's.

Hale House

212 Hale Street, Charleston, WV 25301

With over 300 options to choose from, this is the place for bourbon-lovers. Come for dinner or the cozy downstairs speakeasy. For dinner, we like to load up on appetizers and our favorites include the buffalo chicken wontons, angel hair crab cakes, and ahi tuna.

Barkadas Restaurant

100 Cantley Drive, Charleston, WV 25314

Phillipino fusion and a favorite of the couple! Worth the quick drive from downtown. They also serve a great brunch.
